Pennypack Photo Contest
Pennypack. The Pennypack Photo Contest is now a Year Long event covering all 4 Seasons. Each Registered Participant may submit 21 images into 9 categories with a maximum of 3 images per category. We are excited to be working with every local photographer who wishes to participate in this event. Our goal is to encourage you the photographer with fun objectives that will allow us to come together and celebrate the beauty of nature in the Pennypack.
Birders Early Walk
Pennypack. Every two weeks 7:30-8:30AM Saturdays.
Rain Clouds- Creative Movement 6 Week Series Pennypack. Tuesdays 10am-10:30am – June 24 – July 29. Ages 3-6. Rain Clouds is an exploration of movement through nature, animals and music. In this 6 week series, your child will learn the basics of yoga, dance and creative movement. The playful activities are designed to promote creativity, imagination and confidence. Classes will be held in the Visitor Center with the option to visit the outdoors on sunny days. Story Hour for Pre-Schoolers
Pennypack. 10am-11am every second Thursday. Bring your children ages 2-5 to enjoy nature stories told by Megan Haley Keaton, followed by a special activity, sing-alongs and a walk down to the pond. Story Hour is held the second Thursday of each month. Free.
Tai Chi at Pennypack
Pennypack. There are many physical and mental benefits to be gained from the practice of Tai Chi. This moving meditation is based on ancient Chinese martial and healing arts.Tai Chi instructor E. Story Biddle presents a five week evening session of Tai Chi in the Visitor Center. For more information click here
Montgomery County Trout Unlimited Monthly Meeting Pennypack. 7:30pm – 9:30pm. Visitors Center 2955 Edge Hill Road.The Southeastern Montgomery County Chapter of Trout Unlimited holds its monthly meetings in the Trust’s Visitor Center on the second Tuesday of each month. All are welcome!
